This is one of the most amazing shirts I've ever enjoyed listing on the site. It is a 1951 Argentina shirt worn against England in the first "Festival of Britain celebration match". The shirt was worn by number 9 Ruben Bravo. England won the match 2-1.
Player: Ruben Bravo 9
Condition Details: The shirt is in very good condition and has been well-kept since the game.
Shirt info: The Argentina shirt from 1951 does not have a badge and has a number 9 sewn in the back of the shirt.
Match Worn: The shirt is a match worn from 1951. In the 50s, players would not have had more than one shirt for a match, and the shirt is likely to have been worn multiple times.
Prominence: The shirt came to me indirectly from a member of staff at Wembley Stadium in the 50s, 60s and 70s. His estate was selling his collection of shirts off after his passing.
