This top is inspired by a jacket embellished with cutwork, circa 1905. Cutwork is a needlwork technique in which the cloth is cut away in patterns and the open spaces are reinforced with fine stitching or lace. We reproduced the cutwork patterns for this style, which is trimmed with antique pearl buttons.
